Smart Event 2007
These are towns divided by the Danube. The venue is located 4o kilometers North East of Budapest just off the M1 motorway.
The former belongs to Hungary while the latter to Slovakia.
Date: 28-29 April 2007
This year’s get together will be held at a special venue. The Monostor Fortress is the largest of its kind in Central Europe and is currently applying to be listed as a World Heritage site.
The Smart Event will also coincide with the annual festival events held in Komarom and Komarno so it’s not just the Smarts that will provide the buzz.
Schedule:
Saturday 28 April
Arrival, free practice.taking in the city: relax at the spa, enjoy festival programmes, check out the arts and crafts market, or watch sports events.
Sunday 29 April from 9am
Meeting at the entrance of Monostori Fortress
Procession, photo ops, making friends, quiz games
12pm: live music by Cheese group, award ceremony,(Participants who traveled the farthest to get to Hungary will receive a special prize)
Guided tours in the fortress, underground corridors and chambers and ghosts
2pm: crossing the bridge to Komarno, Slovakia
Sightseeing, fun, farewell.
